Privacy policy
This policy is a working draft written for the prototype. It must be reviewed and approved by DCWC leadership and legal counsel before publication.
Information we collect
We collect only what you provide: your name, contact details, and the content of prayer, care, relief, volunteer, visit, and contact submissions. Giving is handled by a third-party payment provider; card numbers never reach our systems.
How we use it
Submissions are used to respond to you, coordinate pastoral care and relief, and connect you to ministries. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.
Confidentiality of prayer and care
Prayer requests marked pastoral-only are visible to pastoral staff. Requests shared with the prayer team are visible to trained volunteers bound by confidentiality. Care requests are always pastoral-only.
Children's information
Children's ministry registrations are submitted by a parent or guardian and are used solely for check-in, safety, and communication with that guardian.
Retention and access
Requests are retained only as long as needed for follow-up and ministry records. You may ask us to correct or delete your information by contacting the church office.
Security
Access to submissions is role-restricted and audited. Data is stored with row-level security so users can see only what their role permits.
